I am Anna Fardau Schukking (Leeuwarden, 1993). After an exchange year in Sweden I started a bachelor in European Studies at the NHL University of Applied Sciences (2011-2015). It included an internship in Gothenburg for half a year and an Erasmus exchange in Berlin for another half year. After the bachelor I wanted to gain more in-depth knowledge about multilingualism, language policies and the role of language in society and education. First with a pre-master in Communication and Education followed by the master Multilingualism (2015-2017), both at the University of Groningen. Since October I am working for the Mercator Research Centre on Multilingualism and Language Learning.
